I just found out (11/15) that my co-worker/friend has kidney cancer and is having surger on 11/23/2009. Please pray for her. I also found out that teh father of the D.O.N. where I work was rushed to the hospital with pancreatitis and is in a great deal of pain...please pray for my friends! Thank you!

I have been an SDA Christian since childhood - After repeated requests on my part and much deliberation and discussion on the local church's part (particularly they deliberated whether I or my mother signed the baptismal request card/ decision card [I signed it myself], and what I understood about baptism and serving God), I was baptized at age six, and have never regretted it, by God's grace. I recently reached a crisis in my life, not from a single incident, but from a "continual dripping" that seemed to have reached the proverbial last straw for me. (God is giving grace nonetheless, and the crisis has greatly eased inside, though it has been only slightly eased on the outside.) I have spent from 1994 to now, 2009, half* of my life {*just about exactly*} trying to complete my tertiary education, after leaving high school at the top of my class. Many persons who usually would give scholarships to my high school's top grad missed me out, because of my and my mother's stand for what we believe in. Financial and health issues have dogged my completion of studies since then, especially financial. (My health was poor from childhood, but that never messed up my studies - I topped my class from KG to the end of high school, except for coming 2nd in grade ten.) Recent issues with financial registration for the Fall 2009 semester (into Spring 2010 regi$tration, too) seemed to overwhelm me, and I became so frustrated that I can say beyond a doubt that my sanity and salvation were (I hope "were" and not "are" is correct) in great danger. I have many missed semesters, many semesters without regi$tering, many semesters with no Exam Permit from the finance office, and the many problems are many to list here. A glimmer of hope of help is (visibly) shining, and I am hoping that it will come through (or that one of God's other "thousand ways" will soon come through visibly and quickly, with the miracle not just proportionate to, but exponentially greater than, the years of struggle). I feel like Job, with health deteriorating and finances in a bad way. Please pray for me. Thanks.
